Through the ESW SEED program, engineering students and professionals are placed on global service projects that improve the lives of people around the world.

Volunteers are placed on teams at project sites in underserved communities, and work directly with local NGOs, small entrepreneurs, or development agencies with a need for people with technical knowlege and skill. Assignments are a minimum of 3 months and are integrated with ongoing collaborative activities between ESW chapters and our partners.

Imagine using your technical skills to: Design water distribution systems in Honduras, increasing access to water for hundreds of rural communities; Develop solar ovens from recyclable materials, reducing their cost and making them affordable to poor families in Africa; Teach Bosnian youth computer programming, giving them practical skills to rebuild their struggling economy.
